as you all know they are currently working on the DOD:S. but they have not release any information on it,the only informatio they have released is they that plan to make it, and with that in mind and the fact that they have no information on the date it will be released it makes me think that it will not be released for another there...hopefully that is not the case,What do you guys think about DOD:S

PC Gamer said this summer. What hemisphere, I don't know. Steam forums and the DoD forums are stating that there will be a huge media release in August, followed by an early September release.
After staring at "Coming Soon" in my Steam menu for nearly nine months now, I ain't holdin' my breath........

im not sure i even have a fast enough computer to run DOD:S,and yeah i would not count on it being out soon...definitly by next christmas is should be out...hopfully

If you can run Half Life 2 or Counter Strike Source then "Supposedly" you should be able to run DoD Source. If you haven't had a chance to play either of these games as a benchmark, I'd suggest at least a 2 gig processor and at least one gig of ram. A top of the line vid card isn't a necessity as the Source engine is more CPU intensive and doesn't rely heavily on the GPU. Although, if you're looking forward to the new HDR technology, you are gonna need one of those new and expensive Nvidia or ATI cards.
But, why take my word for it, stroll on over to the Steam forums. I think they still have links posted to their benchmarks.

When I was out at E3, I heard it would be coming out around late August. Valve has turned into id software..."it will be out when it is ready"...everyone remembers the last time a company said that...all I have to say is Duke Nukem Forever.....
