put it in the sprites folder.

then in console use "cl_xhair_style #" to choose which one you wanna use.

cl_xhair_style 0 is your original one.

Crosshairs must be renamed to 'dod_cross.spr and then placed in your valve/steam/steamapps/your email address/dayofdefeat/dod/sprites folder if the folder does not exist creat a new one.

do not rename the file to dodcross.spr. this will overwrite your original xhair.
rename the file to customxhair.spr and then use the method i discribed a couple of posts up.

something is wrong...these files aren't showing up correctly for me - not in Sprite Explorer or dod...wth am i doing wrong? I've gotten xhair sprites to work before..

i rename the file i want to customxhair.spr - place it in my sprites folder....and when i try to view it in dod it shows about 5 different xhairs in a row...and when you try numbers like 5 you get no xhair ..... these files look the same in Sprite Explorer

i'm really sorry. this is my fault.

i thought it was a pack. just downloaded it and saw it all are seperate sprites.

just rename the one you want to use to dodcross.spr and put it in your dod sprite folder. and it will work.

sorry again, i thought it went about a hole pack.
