I do think it means you'll have to pay extra. Otherwise what would be the point of including it in special packages that cost more than the normal game itself?

i would have bought silver...but i wanted a real hard copy of HL2..not some downloaded crap - anyway i've been asking the question @ the dod forums - from what i hear there have been two suggestions..

1) You will have to buy the HL2 silver pack (even if you have bronze) but you will only have to pay the difference between the two. (ie: bronze=$50 | silver=$60 | therfore you pay $10)

2) They are going to sell it seperately via steam & retail. Price was unknown.
-------------------------------------------
I'm going to like the incorporation of HDR Lighting...hope my computer can handle it - i have to be on 1024x768 on CSS

the silver also included the hl1 pkg too, so its more like 5$ for dod:S, but that sounds way too cheap.im tihnking 10-20.

i agree...but with the method i described you'd pay $10 even if you already have HL1...its the difference between the HL2 packages - even if silver includes the HL1 games
