What aspects do you look forward to most? What's going to give you goosebumps? Or even make you vomit in excitement?

I can't wait for it to finish loading and first hear the re-done DoD song. (at least I hope they re-made it) It'd give me goose pimples #Bday

ill probably buy it but itll be later than sooner.

oh. i just want ragdoll. for the insanly large nade explosions and zooka it should be fun.

The plan as last discuss (this can change) would be to put 2 DOD source servers and leave one DOD regular....there has been talk of potentially adding a server or removing a game here and make it DOD regular bringing the total to 2 DOD regular and 2 DOD source and over the span of a year making the DOD regualrs into DOD source, but not until we are sure a vast majority of the populace here has and can play DOD source.

I don't have HL2 yet, and I prob won't buy it until dod:s comes out (whenever that may be), but until then dod is just fine with me

nah i dont think itll be july.

anyway im glad ur keeping at least 1 ville server (plz be 4 :p). hopefully ill have dods by the time they are al gone. i have hl2 but not with dods

we don't know which one it will be yet though we do plan to give advance warning to the public before we actually turn it into DOD source. We fully understand that not everyones rig can fully run HL2 or any of the source games for that matter and trust me we really do take that into full consideration when planning these types of things.

good to know. although my rig can run it (not very well, but still "run" it) i cant get... when its available for seperate purchase (not coming with hl2/css as i have them) then ill get it. till hen i cant

The thing I'm lookin foward to is a more accurate world interaction. Have you ever been behind sandbags or something, and go to shoot someone, and the bullets hit the sandbag, even when you know your gun is way in the clear??? I hate that.

Plus, I saw a demo of Flash. The one where the guys is shooting the furniture to blow em up. I think that is going to be intersting to see what people come up with as far as spots to camp.

Not to mention an over all facelift will be cool. My CS S runs nice on full res, so I'm hoping that DoDS runs just as good.[/quote]

Does anyone know how much the game will cost? Because i bought my halflife 2 game from the store and got the regular one that was like 50$. I didn't get the gold pack or whatever they call it. So does that mean ill have to pay extra to play dod:s or is this kinda still up in the air?
