i love my ruger 10/22 for shooting open sighted. it has got to be the only gun that i can get within 3 feet consistantly at 100 yards open sight. but my next gun purchase is going to be a keltec. i need something a bit smaller for carry. |

I'm leaning towards a 10/22 for my next purchase as well. Only other thing I end up with might be a .17 MachII rifle of some sort, though probably not.
The only gun I can currently call my own is my Ruger Mark II. Got it as a 21st birthday present to myself. I'll snap a pic of it to put here, as it's a pretty gun. The particular model I got has a 5.5" slab sided bull barrelled, is blued, and has factory cherry grips and a gold-plated trigger.
I will try to post some pics of the other guns I have access to, my dad's. There are many, but a .45 1911 made by Remington Rand is my favorite to shoot. _________________ -EvilGenius V$^PK

a few things to note:
* total build time was like 2 hours. waiting for glue to dry was the longest.
* we call the one guy who ended up sniffing the glue (which had a warning of "may cause nerve damage") "bumblef**k" for a reason...mainly because he does stupid stuff like that all the time.
* pressure inside potato gun at time of lauch is 60-70psi
* the golf ball at the end isnt a golf ball, but a whiffle ball
we have footage of firing this at the farm to get an idea of the distance, but not been edited. sucker goes about 2 football fields. |

I have a Ruger 10/22 carbine with a varmit scope, a S&W 469 [my packing gun], and an old military style Colt Woodsman (6 in barrel - a very sweet little gun).
That is all. _________________

What do you use to play the SpudGun movie. Windows Media Player does not work and that is all I have. _________________

Maiii-a-Huuuuu!
pretty funny stuff. my advanced chem student teacher in high school told me how he made a hair spray/alcohol powerd potato gun. ( which are more definately illegal in PA) and how they got bored with potatos so they moved on to gravel and burlap... _________________ |

Even though I have several hunting rifles, my fav past time is .22s. I also have the Mark II 5" bull-barrel (heavy dude) but fun for target practice. The 10/22 is prob the most modifiable and for the money, can become an extremely accurate .22. I have a Volquartsen 10/22 custom, carbon-fiber tensioned barrel w Leupold 4-12 fineplex scope. Total weight, 5 1/2 lbs
https://www.volquartsen.com/vc/public/ListItems.do?familyID=4
Another favorite of mine is the Kimber 82C, w a match-grade barrel, prints 10 shot groups at 100yds with a dime!
