Hmmm, well lets just say I was surprised to find it on the newsgroups 2 weeks before it hits the theaters....
Anyhow, I downloaded it and watched parts of it and I can honestly say that you can save yourself $10-$15 by not going to see it......
Thank god for the internet, it saved me from sitting in a movie theater for 20 minutes.....

I did not think it was that bad, though I have not read the books. My friends who are obessesed with the book, the said it was not as good as the book, but was good and tayed along the same lines as the book...
Now, my big question, and and what got me to post, what do you mean 2 weeks before it's release? it opened in theaters here over 2 months ago _________________ http://www.barbertonrhps.com - The offical Website for Barberton's West Theater Rocky Horror Picture Show in Ohio

LMAO!!!!
Well, I was going by what someone told me....that it was 2 weeks away.....
Perhaps then he was referring to the DVD release and not the theatre...
Sorry, I dont do many movies/pay attention to them, they all suck IMHO
And yes, the books were better than the movies but even then the books were not all that good IMHO.... _________________

You remember right.
I went to the movie as a huge fan of the books, and I liked the movie. Not because it was incredibly accurate, or anything like that, but because it really captured the essence of the book for me. The humor was there, the acting, while sub-par to most standards, was right on for the characters actions and quirks in the books.
I can see how some would be disappointed in it, but I found myself entertained well for the time of the movie and that's all I ever ask of hollywood. _________________ "People demand freedom of speech to make up for freedom of thought, which they avoid."

The answer to the meaning of life, the universe & everything.
The real point is that (according to the author's point of view) the answer itself is meaningless. There is no real meaning. [Nihilism]
This book/movie is a journey in philosophical thought presented in a humorous (to some) way. _________________
