ok, so I just tried TFC for the first time really tonight, and I would like to say a HUGE thank you to KopiKat for talking me into trying it, then teaching me a little about some of the classes and timing and stuff.
Thanks also to Powder for being on my team even though we lost a little to easily without a fight since Kopikat was part teaching me tricks and me running around in circles being completely lost
now, to rotate my playing time between TFC, DOD, NS, and UT2k4... can I request time off from work to fit everything in my schedule? how do you guys do this? lol
also, any tricks/techniques/advise to give a newcomer to TFC? _________________

I am rotating games between all but NS. Replace that one with WoW. With the limited time I already have I only get to choose a couple a week
Going in game and messing around is the best way to learn TFC. It is a simple mod to learn which is part of the appeal. The only real goal is to capture flags or to help your team capture flags. Getting some game time in will get you familiar with the maps. There is a limited rotation here which makes it pretty easy to learn your way around. People will be fairly easy on you, no worries. _________________

I saw the title "heh" and thought it was either one of my old posts or Gibbon's.

Just to ad on to what everyone else wrote:
-Don't be on JD's team, he isn't very good and he smells
-Don't be on BRN's team, he likes to grab people from behind
EDIT*
oops forgot one, Be on Frag's team he WILL stab you if you aren't _________________ Rest in Peace Blue Ruler: May 18th, 2004 |
