A book is not only a friend, it makes friends for you. When you have possessed a book with mind and spirit, you are enriched. But when you pass it on you are enriched threefold.-Henry Miller

Started reading The Sandman comic series by Neil Gaiman. Good comic stuff.

Also, for any motivational reading, Dale Carnegie is the author to read.

(Just 1 more).

My single favorite book is "The Great and Secret Show" from Clive Barker. I'm big into horror novels and he is my fave.

I like Stephen King as well and good humored books such as the Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy.

Mr. Doe happens to like Sci-Fi and Fantasy books as well as most things military (Tom Clancy types, as well as actual war history and war type stories)

Hmmmm, if I had to name a favorite author it would be tough to nail it down to just one. Right now I have 2 favorites still, they are David Gemmell and Guy Gavriel Kay, do yourself a favor and grab something from each of them and enjoy some good reads.

Of course I like Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series, Diana Gabaldon's series, and the other main series I read would definitely be the Harry Potter series I have read the Left Behind series as well, interesting reading.

In general though, I like historical fiction, the classics, biographies, travel books... lots of stuff.
