DoD is broken

My DoD is broken

It won't start a new game of just me

It used to

And it figures that now it would mess up when I actually NEED it. I was going to make a video for English class, but now DoD is being a jerk and won't let me

Any ideas?

Yes English class. I did a research project on WWII weaponry and now I have to do a presentation so I'm presenting a video of DoD. But I finally got the video made, which is awesome BTW:P, but I still can't get a single player game started which makes me angry.

it prob says that the game can't be played right now...happened to me, try default config, or reinstalling?

oh and make sure you are ONLINE when trying

No it doesn't do anything! it just stop playing the music and does nothing...

hmm well if you can't find anything to fix it, there is always the reinstilation of dod, or steam.

Have you tried deleting the ClientRegistry.blob yet?? That will cause an update which may take care of the problem. I know that used to fix a lot of problems a while back

BTW that should be in your Steam folder. Same folder your SteamApps is in.

Yea I tried reinstalling DoD with no avail, but ill try that shtuff you said BRN. i dont want to reinstall steam Not talking

EDIT: Nein BRN didn't work. *sigh*

Must be DoDs payback for playing CSS

Does an error message of any kind pop-up? And would how you made the video have had any effect?

I get no error message of any sort, but when i try to start the game again DoD crashes.

To make the movie all I'm using is Fraps. I don't think tat would have any effect on the game really.

EDIT:

I fixed DoD!!! In the launch options I had it trying to launch some DLLs from this bot maker i had but I had deleted the folder for the program so the DLLs that it was trying to launch weren't there. All I had to do was erase that from the launch options thing
