Was gang...well got a problem....my graphics card...its an ATI radeon 128mb IGp for a sony lab top k-series. I re d/l windows xp and everything and tried to d/l some drivers so i can get my card up. I tried everything!! all the drivers...searched...ati.com/tech...nothing worked at all...look in the system...and it shows there is no graphics card. Like it doesnt exist thats why the drivers arnt working. Lab top never came with a ati cd to re download anything...so i was wondering what can i do? just says "EMPTY" AND IT just runs off of software which blows ass. Have you tried add new hardware or tring to install it manually.
Might also try deleting any graphic drivers that are in your device manager to see if it will locate it that way.
If you see a graphics card in your device manager delete it and reboot. That might trigger it as well. I will try and think of some more ideas for ya right now it's late and I'm drawing a blank . _________________ <eVa>Simpleman-V$=<RIP> |

It might also have a conflict or error. If you look in your device manager it might have that lovely yellow icon if so try reinstalling driver and point it at the newest driver you have D/L. Being that it is a ATI card you also want to make sure you only have 1 driver loaded and get rid of the rest as that will cause issues as well.
Hope this helps you might have tried all this already, but I thought I should mention it anyways just incase you haven't.
Goodluck
Might want to try here as well
