alright, this page has web cams by state, and from other countries. whether it be a traffic cam, a cam in an amusement park, at a ski resort, wherever, there are links to the site with the cam. found it kind of cool to see, so I am sharing

I personally despise webcams, and all the security cameras in general. Sure, in some places it is understandable, but you cant go ANYWHERE these days without being videotaped. Cellphone cams are horrible too. I miss the days where people actually got some privacy. I esspecially disagree with the cameras being able to be viewed by the public. I mean, security is one thing, but when it's posted online for anyone to see... it is just kinda creepy and seems to me to be an invasion of privacy.

Sure, if someone wants to use a webcam, they can go right ahead.... but I've personally never been able to understand why some people use webcams and crave so much attention. I have a friend (who is "happily" married) who I recently discovered secretly uses her webcam to make money by doing sexual things on it. Quite disgusting, but I think she enjoys the attention, as do most people who use webcams. I can see no other explanation... it was a cool idea (like in the Jetsons, where you can talk to someone and see them), but what the public does with those things is something that appears to me to have just gone totally wrong.

In summary, boo.

ya I agree camera’s have gotten way outta hand. Ya cant go anywhere without being watched it seems. In some instances ya its good to have a camera. Well, welcome big brother....

Penguin webcam - only refreshes every 15 mins, more pics at the bottom.

St. Bart's - beautiful scenery. (part of an ad to entice visitors/tourists)

While web cams might be too intrusive, these web cams that I found on this site are not necessarily intrusive. with the refresh rates as they are, it is hard to identify anyone, plus the ones that have people, seem to be like the Times Square one, they are briefly passing through. Now if this was web cams of personal homes and such, I could see the point, yet these cams seem only to be of public areas, not close ups, most are overhead, set at the top of a light post, so that the people look like blobs, I guess so you can see how crowded the area is, what the weather looks like there, not to identify anyone... least how it appears to me from the cams I have looked at.

example - Warsaw - "Camera looks from 31-th floor of building to North-West direction of Warsaw, Poland" can't really see anything except buildings

looks interesting

(though I like looking the other way more, that is beautiful architecture imo (click on yellow text under still image of the cam to get live feed) ... so pretty

Little Phil: People can watch me play baseball. I think it's neat!

Host: That may be so, little Phil, but what if you couldn't decide when people would watch you?

Little Phil: Then I think that would be bad. I wouldn't like it if someone watched me go to the bathroom. That would make me feel uncomfortable.

Host: Indeed it would, little Phil. Indeed it would. What do you think, little Chan?

Little Chan: CHEESE!

Host: Haha......right. Moving on, what do you think of people watching you all over the place, little Angie?

Little Angie: Why would people watch me? Are they bored and don't have anything else to do like ride a bike?

Host: I guess not, little Angie.

Little Angie: They should find better things to do. That's what I think.

Host: But what if those cameras were there to keep you safe? So that if someone kidnapped you, the police would know what you looked like and so they would also know what the kidnapper looked like?

Little Timmy: I'd like to feel that I'm safe, so I guess that's a good thing.
Little Susan: The police don't do anything anyways, so I think it would be dumb.
Little Phil: I can take care of myself! I don't need someone to babysit me!
Little Chan: CHEESE!
Little Angie: Only if that's what the cameras are used for. I wouldn't want someone to find a video of me going home and finding out where I live. That'd be scary.

Host: How would you feel if I told you there already are cameras in a lot of places that you don't know about? Would you act any different?

Litte Timmy: I don't know. I don't think I'd like that.
Little Susan: I think you're lying. Nobody's watching me.
Little Phil: I don't think I'd act any different. People will love me for me, not because of how I act when I think someone's watching me.
Little Chan: DURP!
Little Angie: Only if it's grown ups watching me. Like police to help me when I'm in trouble, or my mommy to find me if I get lost.

Host: That's all the time we have for today, kids. I think we learned some valuable lessons here today. How about you? Did you learn anything?

(Host is then bitten by Little Chan).

If you live in a bigger city you are being watched just about everywhere you go. I only see one way to go and that is to embrace it and have sex in front of all the cameras you can!

Kind of like the way we used to try and get kills with all the weapons provided in game! he with the most pics wins
