I found that I could beat that game in one class period if I didnt take too much time to hunt. |
That must of been on a newer computer remember this was 22+ years ago so it took the computer 30 min. to boot up...lol
Thats back when computers cost lots of $$$$$$$$$$ and didn't even have the internet everything was in DOS no windows not even 3.1 ...lol I think it had 2mb of ram and couldn't even tell ya what type of processor it had...lol |
Even the Mac lisa had only about 56K of RAM.
I do know the Mac Plus had 128K. _________________

The first game I played was Olympic Decathilon on an Apple II in Grade 8. Um, that would be 24 years ago
The first game I bought would have been for my Vic 20, which was my first computer at home, and I believe it was Bezerk or a game with a similar name. Had to load it off cassette, that really shows how old I am _________________

Loadrunner was the best!!!!
I think I bought a PC version of it in the mid - late 90s, I will have to see if I can find it and see if it will run under XP.
My boss was installing Windows 95 on a old laptop this week for his 7 year old to play with, I game him a ton of game disks I had from the early 90s, all the great games from Apogee like Wolf3D, Duke Nukem, Commander Keen, Monster Bash, Crystal Caverns and more. Played with them a little bit, boy that brought back some memories. _________________

I think I still have Zork and many other Infocom games downstairs somewhere from the late 80s, they were classic text adventure games.
Its still funny how they actually gave you stuff in the box to complement the game unlike these days where you get a CD and perhaps a manual.
