Mine is Gainward made nVidia GeForce3 64DDR with TV out.

You shouldn't rush out and get the first GeForce4, it'll be buggy like a MoFo and cause system instability like the first versions of the GeForce3.

Also the 23.11 drivers for the GeForce3, for those of you that have it, are bad. Avoid them, they cause system instability. I was surprised at this since nVidia is usually good about releasing quality things so haveing a defective driver isn't good. They also haven't gotten around to putting out a fix yet either, which is another dissapointment.

And, Cycodad, I unserstand. My Fiancé is a HLer and so is my son. We have three working (and a graveyard of parts) puters in the house that all have to be upgraded together. We are competitive bastards. For now I will hang with this card. My next big purchase is the Creative Audigy Platinum EX. Hopefully that bad boy will be installed within the next couple of weeks. (My fiancé already has an Audigy Platinum *grumble grumble.*)

Funny story about The GeForce 4, a couple of days ago when they were first released (supposedly only 4 per store near me) a friend of mine, waited an hour before the store opened, rushed to the shelves and bought one. He gets home, opens his computer and gets really pissed, He didn't have an AGP port!!!!!! Oh well, not that funny just the breaks of getting a piece of ... computer.

I have a 8mb TNT 2 Nvida Graphics card running under winodows xp porffessoinal and i still waste everyone (note not everyone)

i got a GeForce2/Prophet 4500 in this comp. In my new comp i got visiontek geforce3 but i cant use my new comp until i get a new heatsink for the chip.
