My friend and I had a debate goin'. I say it depends on your style of gameplay. She says Master Sargeant is hands down better. For me Unteroffizer is better, what do you think? _________________ =(M)-(M)= Mal n the m00bs - TVC 06 finalists

A lot of people say they're the same exact gun in DoD, but I like the Master Sergeant better. I just like shootin' people up with a Tommy Gun _________________

Same gun different models. The game creators are not gonna fuss over the difference completly. The stg44 is like the same as bar but bigger clip and a tiny bit less recoil.

I always thaought that the tommy had faster rate of fire, but not as strong with less recoil. But, you guys know better, that's why I asked. _________________ =(M)-(M)= Mal n the m00bs - TVC 06 finalists

If you think of the game in a WWII sense then they're not the same gun but if you think of it as a bunch of code and statistics then they're the same. I like to think of them as the real gun cuz I'm a WWII junky. I also tend to do better as a MstrSgt than Uffz though hmmm maybe I'm crazy. _________________

I'm big into getting new gun/player models and sounds. I think it helps a lot. _________________

I like them both, dont really have a preference. The Thompson seems to have a little faster rate of fire to me, both of them are headshot machines though _________________

IIRC they uncloned the smgs. The mp40 has 2 extra rounds in its clip, and a slightly slower ROF.
