How would you like to have a hand in revamping The Ville site?

We are in the process of gathering a team of people to do just that.

We love our beloved site but the old gal us just that. Old. She needs some TLC

and a new look.

If you have experience in creating web pages, graphics experience, phpBB Modding experience, or anything else you feel you could contribute to the project, please drop me a PM and we'll see if we can get you added to the team. There is plenty of work to go around. While experience is preferred, TIME and AVAILABILITY are essential elements we must have on the team. You must be able to devote a substantial amount of time to this project.

This will be one of the single greatest changes this site has seen since it's creation. It will be work, but if it's your thing, it will be a great project to be a part of. Again, it will be work and will require a substantial amount of your personal time and energy.

It's for The Ville and it's future. What better cause could there be? Feed the hungry? bah! Save the Whales? Paalease! Redesign The Ville? Now that's a sexy adventure!

i disagree, in order to fully revamp i think the purple should be dropped.

i never really like the color scheme.

If you're talking about the image and css templates for the forums - and I believe even the site if done correctly - then this is possible.

Just use CSS and alternate stylesheets with cookies to remember user preference... I have this setup on my website (dark themed with the option to switch to light background / black text). Go check it out at Biology News. Very simple to do...
