Mines alum, so it helps. Plus its really quiet cause I only have 3 fans.

funny how times have changed, used to be AMD with the huge complaints of heat. Now its Sintel.

omg mine runs at 85-90

and i was getting pissed off the other night it climbed to 105... so i ordered another fan...

if it was in C my house would burn down.

i got it running about 149F most of the time, it seems like only DOD and photoshop really make it run hot.

It sounds like the power supply is struggling....I would get a beefier (400-500w) one pronto. 55 degrees under load for your processor is no big deal, especially if it's a prescott core

I just figured out where the smell was coming from. Apparently a large spider crawled into the oven and built a web. So the smell that I thought was coming from the computer was actually from the kitchen...
