I then have to quit photoshop, and it doesn't save my file  (Adobe Photoshop 4.0) very annoying, and happens a lot.... I try restarting computer, have nothing running, open it, start working, and boom, error. I mean, I haven't even clicked New file...
Edit: I have 56.7 GB free hd, (76.1%)

well, increase your windows pagefile size. catch me on IM and ill walk ya through it. also make sure your photoshop scratch disk settings are correct (its under preferences).
try running chkdsk and defrag see if that helps it also.
how much memory do you have on the computer, as that might be a small factor. |
