.... i think i should tell you all. i have been hacking for some time now. in fact for the past 6 years....
i cant help it, ive been in and out of h4x rehab and i just cant seem to kick the habit
/sarcasm
i wonder if kids will one day claim that hacking in video games is an addiction and such. they claim everything is some sort of addiction now a days so it wouldn't surprise me at all. i just hope im dead and buried when that time comes. _________________

In Avalanche, is that consider cheating when you're axis and you jump from the apt to the Allies arch?
Or at the broken bridge in Saint - you can get to the roof by jumping off someone shoulder

The point is that you shouldnt be able to get to the arch. You have to either boost (which isnt allowed) or exploit a clipping error (which isnt allowed) to get up there. So you should expect to get slayed at the very least if you try it. |

On avalache there are guns that try to shoot you when you reach that roof top. If you avoid those guns it is considered cheating. |

In the Steam News Valve is announcing their war against cheaters:
"Next week we'll begin beta testing the new Valve Anti-Cheat system. For people playing multiplayer games, there will not be any visible difference while we're conducting the beta, but we will be logging cheating violations into our database to make sure it's ready for general release. This will be the last public notice before the system is released and active for everyone.
If you have any cheats for multiplayer games installed on your computer, now would be a good time to uninstall and stop using them. When a cheat infraction is detected, the offender will be permanently banned from playing on secure servers."
Lol, don't cheat don't make pirated copies of HL2. not too hard to follow this imo _________________

ie:
krg = "Excuse me sir, I seem to notice you are shooting me in the head from across the map in your respawn which is blocked by 5 buildings and a hill." "This is causing me some distress."
cheating person = "My bad, I'm so juiced up, I put most baseball players to shame." "I will cease the use of my hacks".
krg = "Thank you kind sir."
cheating person = "No, thank you for bringing to light the fact that while my hacks make me happy, it may make others unhappy." "You are a fantastic admin and I wish everyone was just like you."
krg = "You're too kind sir." "Good day."
See, it's all in how you approach the situation.

maybe, but what about the 50,000 people banned for pirating copies of hl2? granted, you can go out and get a new steam id, but i think that this new way of implementing this will be more effective than the old way. i mean, if each time you go get a new steam id and get caught cheating, how many times will a cheater go out and buy a new steam id? _________________
