Cheat

I've been playing DOD for about 4 months but I can't tell if someone cheats. People in the game sometimes say one is cheating or so but I have no clue. Anyone has like video or something so I know who cheats

It takes a little more then just looking at a few videos to know if someone is cheating or not. Actually the good cheaters are hard to spot even by those with an experienced eye. All in all it just takes some time in the game to know what is and isn't cheating.

Some others might have some videos to post but they are usually by those that are very obvious at cheating.

most of the ones that are obvious to spot never make it far, and most don't choose a ville server as their starting spot - VAC bans <3
it is hard to spot a cheater, and most who start screaming that someone is cheating is just upset that someone killed them

I don't have any good links for DoD, but if you want a couple for a dif mod, I have some for NS.

Whilst doing my duty as admin here at The Ville, I found that the majority of people will admit to cheating if you ask nicely.

ie:

krg = "Excuse me sir, I seem to notice you are shooting me in the head from across the map in your respawn which is blocked by 5 buildings and a hill." "This is causing me some distress."

cheating person = "My bad, I'm so juiced up, I put most baseball players to shame." "I will cease the use of my hacks".

krg = "Thank you kind sir."

cheating person = "No, thank you for bringing to light the fact that while my hacks make me happy, it may make others unhappy." "You are a fantastic admin and I wish everyone was just like you."

krg = "You're too kind sir." "Good day."

See, it's all in how you approach the situation.

Cheaters? There's no such thing. I've never banned anyone for looking at the person camped in their house from spawn on Kalt.

KRG, the only time that I have seen people respond like you said, they were joking. Or at least I don't think that Nanite really hacks.
