Looking to purchase a laptop, One I have right now is crapping out on me, (486 running win95)......
The main purpose of getting a laptop is word processing, AIM, web browsing, and world of warcraft (min res and min settings) as well as steam.
I'm trying to find out what the best deals are out there, cause i have less the 1k to spend...
Min requirements for WoW
* Processor: 800MHz or higher CPU.
* RAM: 256Mb or more.
* Video: GeForce 2 or better
* Hard Drive Space: 3Gb or more available.
* DirectX 9.0 or above.
Would like a computer that is over 1.6 at least.
I'm horible at asking for help, so umm yeah What do you guys and gals suggest and all that?

| Why do you want the laptop to play WoW?? It seems to be the only intesive program that you are running. Why not run it on a cheaper desktop or something? |

I have a desktop that is capable of running it very well, but I've been wanting a laptop for awhile now, and something to bring with / to LANs, either as my main comp, or a 2ndary for someone else.
about the lowest i want to go processor wise however is like 1.6
