your role?

im just curious whats your role when you play dod? (keep in mind not class but role) i am an antisniper. as some found out today i hardly miss against snipers but when trying to kill others i cant hit the broad side of a barn if i was standing in front of it.

so whats your role?

Charging the front. Sometimes this lets me get behind them to cap the last couple of flags unexpectedly, but mostly it just ensures I have the highest deaths per minute of anyone who plays DoD at The Ville.

Defense, in whatever way possible. I'm excellent at taking out snipers, especially.

Im a point capper. i get points no matter what. ill rush up on 2 mgs if i think i can grab the point before they kill me. i dont worry about kills too much. getting points helps the whole team, not just my score.

kill banker...i try to get as much kills as i could possible..this allows my teammates to cap the flags

rusher clear and simple...ill rish against a million MG's and snipers if i think or even dare to think i can cap a flag to give us one point even if it means certain death. I have always believed in this though process.

mercurial soldier. My role changes depending on what my team needs the most. Need someone to cap? Ill be the suicidal nutcase. Need to keep enemies out of our sewers? Ill camp with a rpg. Need that big gun kept safe? Ill hide out with a mg. Need that big gun blown up? Ill snipe the mgs guarding it so you can set the charge.

I like to get behind the enemy and aggravate them to the point where they start calling me names. It distracts them and my teammates can move up.

I always play random, so it's hard for me to always have the same "role". But my main goal is to make my team (Axis, 99 times out of 100) win.

If I'm a... I mostly go for...

Rifle: Use my nades to push back the other team or clear out a area and them push forward to cap flags or make them lose time by trying to finding me. Sometimes if you go behind enemy lines and get like 2-3 guys and them 1-2 others is trying to find you. At the end, it's up to 3 to 5 player not in the front line making it easier for your team to push forward.

SMG: Flag and pushing forward but more in a sneaky way. Using nade too. Run 'n Shot!

MG: Try to defend a flag or important area or hold on progression of the other team. Giving cover to my teammates.

Panzer: Playing as random I get a panzer at least 5 to 10 times per map (and most of the time 3 to 4 times in a row) so I try to make something out of it. Taking out sniper, mg or camper. Destroy also sandbag or wall that will be important for my team. Getting flag too. And using my pistol the best way I can.

Sniper: Taking out the others sniper or mg. Holding down any progression of the others team or defending a flag. Giving cover to my teammate.

I usaually start as rifleman and go from there ,if team is not capping then I will try too. If our team is hurting and we keep losing then I get frustrated and go defense as mg to atleast not loose so fast.. I`m not afraid to die trying to cap . So I am uusuall y the suicide capper trying to keep us alive.

When drunk I will play mg or sniper ,pace is not so fast then

im the guy that "holds the line"

i use mostly smgs or rifles, and i hold the line until other players move up and secure an area. this usually means im the one running behind enemy lines to cap a flag, so i die a lot.

if im playing with someone i know, like jack, i will be his cover guy. i lay down fire while he runs like an idiot throught 5 mgs to cap a point. it works well.
