Very nice ring, now only if I had someone to give it to who has exactly a size 4 finger. |

White gold is an alloy made by mixing gold with either platinum (very expensive) or nickel (not so expensive).
red/pink gold is an alloy using copper. |

Ummm, what you will find is that any jewelry is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, and that is usually about half the appriased value.
This ring at less than $2500 is a steal (if you have a girl with a size 4 finger), otherwise less than $1500 (if you want to take the stone and mount it in a new setting). |

It is always possible to resize it by thinning out the band. |

Yep just chuck it up in your 55 pound vise, grap your Dewalt 3/4 horsepower drill motor and throw a 5/8's Bellhanger bit into the Jacobs chuck...
I just find it very unlikely that the story is true, the diamond is real, or that is real gold white or not. Possibly a 99 cent store trinket??? _________________ Only in America......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering. |

Pondscum is the one selling it, so I believe the story.
