|
|
Hey guys I'm about to pull what's left of my hair out. Here is the problem. When I hold my mic button down to talk, my voice comes out choppy. If a team member is looking at me while I hold the button down, it shows the mic symbol as blinking. Almost like I'm tapping the talk button instead of holding it down. Does anybody know what might be causing this?
Somethings tried:
Different mic, same thing
Different buttons for talking, same thing
Updated drivers, same thing
Also, inside of windows it works with no problems. It just seems to be something within the game(s). _________________ Can't we play as a team?

I actually tried all of the things posted and even reviewed the webpage you refrenced. None of it helped and I'm not sure about my rate but I think it's like 5000 or something like that. I'll make sure when I get home. I'm also on a cable connection. _________________ Can't we play as a team?

I had that problem once. I think I had my mic levels set to high.
It was almost like it was overloading if that’s possible.
Plus I lowered my sound acceleration from full down to standard.
also updated my drivers. After that the problem went away. _________________

Fixed it. It was my rate. When I typed in rate it was at 5000, like the article stated. So I tried going up to 7500 and it got better. After setting it to 9999 the problem is almost non exsitant. Now I have to wait almost 15 seconds before it cycles. Thanks for the help. _________________ Can't we play as a team?
