Avanti is still the best map ever. Gibbon calls it "The map of kings."

one of my first names was, yorwelcome4urhiscor . I was not ROOFCUTTER then. I used a lot of different names.
I hung out and got splated by JD on Turkeyburgers but since I did not know these guys I just died in silence....
Now how many years later....I'm not dieing in silence! anymore.
I miss Avanti the game the players and the server  but time marches on...
Turkey burger sucked....JD just killed me....

Yes that was JD's playground all we did is respawn and get shot again. Basically all we were there for was target practice. There were many of good snipers that followed JD as well Piggy, Shockwave, Omega, Bubbles, Darkath and a few others that are escaping my mind right now. ( might have to do with the baseball size lump on my head....lol) There were many good times on Avantiville.
PS> When are we getting are TFC server back?????? It would fun to have some TFC nights a few times a month. Maybe we can get some of the old school players to come back and show off there skills AKA Silver, Sully, and Frag with there Spy hacks. Hatty, EE, Bada, Mulder, thewz and the others with there amazing Sully play. YPAWOM, Rata, BBF, Hoaxie and many other unstoppable HW's. The outstanding medics Blue Ruler( May He R.I.P ), MJ, Trig( May he R.I.P), Snaggle, and the many othe helpfull and very annoying medics out there. I have met many good people here and have became really friends with alot of them. There is no other community as good as this one. I want to thank everyone that has made it become the place that it has become. Long live TheVille

ive been playing off and on for a LONG time. I remember it was around summer of 7th grade (11th grade now). I remember joining when theville ran tv4 murderball/warpath with neotf. It hooked me, i played well over 3 hours straight that day. I remember it because it was a central server, so when i looked at the server time it was an hour behind me and when i realized how late it was i was like o geeze. I went to the website because i figured theville.org tv4 had to of ment something. I ended up here accept it was the OLD layout of the site before they upgraded. Anywayz i remember the old ville intro that featured where the servers were located way back when. Its been my home ever sence. I dont think ud realize it when you look at my post count, im just a quite person i guess. eather way. . .

July 2001 for me. Real close to the Clark Graphics switchover. Waiting in-line to get on when I got home from work. Usually took up to 15 minutes before someone dropped. Server was loaded with spies. Yea, you know who you are. 4 months later, I learned to prime a grenade. The end.
What was extra funny, was all the Counterhack players checking the mod out.
Counterhack Player 1 dies

(repeat) 15 times
Counterhack Player 1 types: This mod sucks
Counterhack Player 2 types: Yea, lets go hack some more, so we can actually kill something.
