We talked about this a few months ago but it got lost with the drive crash.
I have a Logitech MX700 / Keyboard combo. I like the MX700 mouse, but I wanted to try the MX1000 laser. Has anyone else tried to use a MX1000 with the wirless keyboard together? I've searched all over google and those who said they've done it, never explained HOW they done it.
I'd like to make this work. HOWEVER, Logitech just came out with the MX3100 combo, which is essentially the same thing. So, I may go that route.
I've heard a lotta horror stories about the MX1000, but I wanted to give it the old college try before getting my money back.
I don't wanna hear about the corded vs cordless banter, I've been running this wireless for 8 months now, and you already know how it's been doing in game. _________________ "I Cant HEAR YOU"

I say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." MX3100 keyboard mouse combo looks nice, but with what seems to be the case, I'd wait off on buying anything with an MX1000 mouse. Nice and all, but if it's as bad as it sounds, I wouldn't get one.
I suppose if nothing else, give one a try and then take it back to the store. Couldn't hurt. _________________ http://www.chronixradio.com |

Right on. MX3100 seems to be the next version of the MX700, so hopefully there won't be any problems there. At least you've got a reliable MX700 until then. _________________ http://www.chronixradio.com |
