Did you know jumbo actually was a silly name made up by the Barnum and Baily circus a long time ago. When they brought the first elephant to America ithey wanted a unique silly sounding name for it, so they named the elephant Jumbo. So throughout the years after the elephant died people starting associating Jumbo as being large for anything.
