Im using XP and have never had a problem with anything. (except yahoo messenger every now and again) I think that its a great system and very stable, however it sounds like all it takes is one remotely incompatible card or device that makes the system go to crap. I would recommend that you do the partition with 98 like was mentioned earlier. that way youll have both, and if any other game or program is loopy with your current OS, you can always use it in 98.

Well, guys, thanks for all the help. I think I might have fixed it by putting the factory drivers back on. I only played for about 10 minutes today, but they were an uneventful 10 minutes with no crashing. I am gonna test it for real tonight.
