As you may or may not have noticed over the past few weeks the Ville has been limping through some pretty tough times. Not only with the ownership change at the end of 2004 but prior to the change in owners there was a huge crash which amounted to about 3 months of data vanishing into the night.
Every problem that is a result of the crash is being taken care of and slowly but surely all the luxuries that we are accustomed to at the Ville will be brought back with haste. Jfet and I want to thank everyone who has stood by and waited patiently through this painful process. The Ville would be nothing if it were not for our die hard players, forum users, and all around kind and helpful people that make up this wonderful community.
Jfet and I have a lot of wonderful and hopefully exciting ideas in store for everyone in the next few months, but we want feed back from you guys; after all this is your place too. So please post things you would like to see or would like to bring back. We love the input and feed back you guys give us thus building an even stronger community than what we have now.
Once again we thank everyone for their support and stay tuned…..

It would be nice if the old DoD Stats could be brought back up. PsychoStats are cool, but I miss the log that let us take screenshots of our kill streaks or daily awards. Speaking of daily awards... how about bringing those back?
Also, I think it would be cool if the forum had a drop-down box like the "Server Info" and "Stats" buttons do, so that we could skip from the various forums with ease.

I've been playing online games since the Quake 2 days. My longest "streak" of playing a game has to be TFC, followed closely by NS. In that time, you all can guess I've played on a lot of servers and with a LOT of people. But never once did I go to a server's website, never once did I join their forum.
Until I found TheVille. The players here are of a caliber like no other. The admins are absolutly on top of their stuff and trouble makers are delt with quickly. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and "elitism" is kept to a minimum.
Rob started it and kept it strong, and I have total faith in both Powder and JFet. I can't wait to see how things are going to get even better around here.

yeah bring back the daily awards. the daily awards and overall stats on the site are what got keyes and I to come to the site. the other stats are cool, but it'd be cool the have the awards back. i miss always being the head smasher
