All I have to say is "I'm jealous." That 6800 looks like a beast.
But why did you give up on ATI? _________________ ********* *********

Driver issues as well as it was not as stable with what I like to do..overclock...my current system is overclocked 30% of factory bus and cpu rate. Current GPU is not messed with due to poor cooling.
ATI gave me a lot of hell with blue screen issues..even though the X800 series (i belive) look interesting..i am sticking with the company that bought out my SLI VOODO 2D and 3D set that I had OC'd..aka the fan was a house fan mounted to the case.
And btw i dont water cool yet..peltie cooling I am still researching (go figure my 3 years of CE eng college might come to use) |

did you uninstall old drivers and use driver cleaner after that? left over .dlls will screw up new drivers. if you wana overclock, id just go with a X800 pro vivo (since some of the pipes arent cut) and flash ur bios to an X800XT and its practically the same thing as buying an XT. theres alota guides on the net for doing that too.
crosair is a good choise. _________________ R.I.P. Blue |

Well I just ordered the video card. I ended up going with the Leadtek 6800 GT. I went with this brand due to the GT is made to fit in 2 slots not one (alows for better cooling). And I went with this one to prevent D.B.W. (death by wife).
Got it for a great price on sale $377.00 |
