I made a new pub movie.

Over Christmas I was recovering from having my wisdom teeth extracted, so - being heavily medicated and acheiving a zen-like state, I pubbed for a bit, made four or five demos and made a short 2 minute movie. I was never going to post it anywhere since I wasn't that happy with it (since my selection was pretty limited, but I enjoy making movies nonetheless).

hey ten, ill download the movie later gonna hit up some hl2 first, but I also had my wisdom teeth takin out. It was hell. it didnt stop swelling till the 7th day, and then i went to the doctor and well its infected, so now school with infested teeth bleh! but i do know that zen-like state

what prog do you use to change .dem, or do you just make it .mpg right away?

Oh, and how do you get so low recoil w/ the BAR? I freakin need like a foot of space to keep my recoil low.

There were a few nice walls in places I never have yet! Seeing those shovel kills makes me wish I had a demo going when I killed 4 people in a row with a shovel while they were also running towards me. D: That screenshot at the end is so awesome. It looks like it was set up or doctored, but we were all there playing and camping that van. I could totally see it hanging up in the Guggenheim if they ever did a video game art show.

My BAR sensitivity is 2.7 but it used to be higher. Over time it just gets easier, and lower sens. is simply better. The less pixels you're skipping over the easier it is to be precise. And it's a little more complicated than just turning a demo into an .avi, you'll usually spend about ~40 gigs on the whole process. It's really quite easy after you've done it a few times, but it's kinda complicated a first. Demo -> screenshot clips @ 30 per second -> uncompressed avi + clips + audio and editing -> your compressed video.

Haxor I can tell by the way your aimer jumped clear across the screen to kill 4 people in 1 second.... And they were moving normaly while you were speed hacking. and you fire to fast... HAXOR!
