|
|
I am buying a new hard drive in a couple of days. I just wanted to check on which is the better format.
The drive I will be getting will be the primary drive - OS and such. I will be getting a 10,000 RPM drive at 36 GB. I already have a 120 GB SCSI 7200 RPM drive that is now in need of a format.
With the new drive should I be looking at SATA or SCSI?? In a month or so I will be getting another 200 GB drive as well. Which ever is better I will do for that one as well. The 200 GB drive will be a 7200 RPM as I see no need to get the faster one for storage and backup.
Any suggestions?? _________________

I did a little research and realized what I actually have right now is an IDE drive I think, not an SCSI. I guess I will be starting from scratch all together anyways. Everyone seems to be busy with the holiday so I will just purchase blindly and hope for the best. _________________

SATA much less expensive as SCSI, and you won't be able to tell much diff anyway. Go SATA.
