I wonder if it would be possible to manufacture full scale replicas that utilize modern ammunition. One of those in .308 winchester of 30-06 would be awesome.

Thats another meaning for duck hunting. You can pluck, skin and whatever else that needs to be done all at the same time. Just rinse and throw it on the BBQ.
