Ok well i have heard yall talking about this place Frys, and they just opened one up where i live (grand opening), and i must say HOLY JESUS! the place was big pimpin. But out of everything i saw, i was most impressed with the rig they had running Doom3 on, i checked the gfx options and they had everything MAX, and Extreme GFX mode, and wow it gave me a new aspect on the game, it was awesome. Most of the prices were very low and i liked that alot. now i have to wait till i get some money before i got back cuz i was o so tempted to get something.

Yeah I've been there a few times but I had to make a lot of returns because my old computer didn't like any of the network cards. They take forever to make returns... _________________

Everytime I go in I have to walk the whole store. Not just parts but the whole store. It is very hard to go there and not buy anything, even if you just go with a friend. It reminds me of a store called "Incredible Universe" that folded quite a few years back. I think this one will be around for a while though _________________

Never heard of this store before.....i guess the closest thing we have to that would be either a best buy or circit city _________________

Incredible Universe was owned by Radio Shack. Frys bought up some of their old stores. _________________ Only in America......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering. |

Last time I went to Fry's I was walking around a corner and almost walked underneath Chris Webbers( From The Scaramento Kings) legs. I tried to talk them into letting me sleep in the tent for the night I only got about half way through the store, but they wouldn't let me . _________________ <eVa>Simpleman-V$=<RIP> |

Anything that is refurbished is required by law to be labeled that way. At the Fry's here in Vegas it is labeled. They do carry a lot of refurbished stuff but if you don't want it then don't buy it, go for the new stuff. For those looking to save a few bucks the refurbished stuff is great. _________________
