Another possibility for the date of the attack:

On Sept. 11, 1922, a British mandate was proclaimed in Palestine, despite Arab protests. It lasted until 1948, after the United Nations authorized a partition of the territory and the state of Israel was established.

i don't believe these guys were palestinians...they are saudi citizens if i am up to date on what investigators think now.
bin laden isnt fighting us because he is mad at US policy with respect to palestine and isreal. its because he is a wacko and he hates everything any western institution does and the US is just the focal point of it.

Yes, I realize they weren't palestinians. The fact that Isreal exists at all is an excuse for violent acts for more groups than just the palestinians though.

I guess amid all of the turmoil of the past few days I was trying to find some sort of logic in what has been done, and there isn't any. I agree with what you said about Bin Laden and his group.

You know, I dont think that war will break out, because this was a small terrorist group, not a whole country. We cannot have war against a group. And I dont want to get off topic, but I dont think that Nostrodomos quote is true. Heres why:

I believe that these terrorists were "hardcore" nostrodomos followers. When they read that Two Brothers quote, the decided to carry that out. Think about it, you wouldnt want your religion or whatever to be a laughing stock when a prediction didnt come true, so you try to MAKE IT come true, that way, everyone thinks that the prediction was right. Like you know how everyone said the apocalypse would come at 2000, and it didnt. Well there were numerous terrorist attempts that were stopped, and never made the papers. These terrorists were trying to make the apocalypse come, so that they wouldnt look stupid.

Its like if your mom tells you someone will die, you kill that person so that she will look right.

Anyway, these are just my thoughts, im not saying theyre 100 percent correct.
