Those of you that live in southern Florida have a hell of a storm heading your way. Hopefully you have already evacuated but you have my prayers right now. I talked to my brother last night who lives in North Miami Beach and he says it is the largest evacuation to date.

Please be careful there!! Post as soon as you can with an update.

JD has a spare bedroom if you want to drive up to Canada. Throw your PC in the car with ya and we can do a small lan party this weekend.

I used to live in Miami, FL. Still got friends and family down there. I remember all thru school having hurricane drills and how dam strong those winds can get.

Look where this thing is suppose to be Wednesday morning!! Right on top of The Ville!!! It won't be a hurricane but it'll still bring lots of rain.

lo thats part of livin in Fl, I live in Tampa Fl so the winds should die down alot by the time it hits us it will be movin slow no wind dmg just some possible floodin, and i like rain -just refer to ponds shroom thread

atm in tampa were gettin some strong weather bands hittin us randomly they come in hit hard then its nice for awhile weve already lost power once.. this afterfoon before anything major even hit, then we got some strong winds that knocked some pots over on my porch and tore the roof that wasnt secured off one of my niegbors chicken coops then it was nice for awhile but now the winds are startin back up so no tellin when the power might go out and the weather man says it just gonna sit on top of florida cuz its movin sooo slow so see ya guys on the flip side

I've been keeping a close eye on it since I have family in North Miami Beach. I have been on the phone with him off and on all weekend and he is saying pretty much the same as Mr. Hat.

There were a bunch of tree limbs that blew down and that was pretty much it on my brother's end. They are still getting hit with rain but he lives right next to a lake and is quite a bit higher than the water level so he is just having a party

Hopefully things work out the same for most down in that neck of the woods. Next projected path is Mississippi and Alabama though. Be prepared and be safe there.
