Always liked things electronic in HS. Spent ~5 yrs in USN-R. Started work at TRW (now NGC) as a technician. Attended JC, got 2 AA's, transferred to SDSU for EE but crashed and burned early part of senior year.

Well put JD. I'll second those sentiments as well. Still working at NGC as Mfg Engineer. Planning on retiring some day, but still like what I do on a daily basis. On days when I don't, well that's what TFC, DoD, and NS are for.........

Been a database administrator for the last 4 years, but I mostly just surf the web all day

I've done a lot of this and that growing up but finally found a career as an electrician. I am one of the few that love what I do. I am always learning something new on the job which makes it really interesting. My latest projects include a hospital, power/generating plant, and currently at the new casino/resort going up on the Las Vegas Strip
