for those of you who might have the problem of not being able to start up steam and play online, there is another way.....
start steam in offline mode and just connect to a server from there out.

yeah it startes in offline mode when you try running steam and it cant find an internet conection. you can get to your favorite servers but you cant get pub lists.

Unfortunately the last steam downtime log me out automatically (And no, I did not choose log out and exit since I test my map in offline mode), so I could not even get in to offline mode
