Thats right, im heading for Canada as of July 20th to go camping in Bissett, Winnipeg. I'll be up there fishing in Scout Lake for a week, canoeing and camping with some other friends and their dads too. I hear its very beautiful, and the fish bite every cast (since they have never seen a lure in their life). Ill be sure to have plenty of pictures, and a long road trip (driving from Dallas to Canada )

Sounds like fun to me Any time away from the city doing some fishing is all good.

Um, make sure you take some insect repellant though.

You'll be passing within 3 or 4 miles of my house if you take 35W through the minneapolis downtown area.

I'll be taking a roadtrip to Winnipeg the first week in August this year in a big blue bus converted into an RV. There will be lot's of #Beer going on I bet.

Don't forget to check for mosquitoes in every corner of the inside of your tent when you settle down for the night.

On top of that, practise getting in and out of the tent as quickly as possible, so that less of the blighters get in if you have to go pee in the middle of the night.

HEY! That's not very nice. Canada is just like anywhere else. You get a good mix of uglies, gorgeous, cool, uncool, blah blah, et cetera. Being a Canadian woman, I was offended by your comment though.

Have an awesome time in Winnipeg. Sounds like a very awesome trip. See you when you get back, Irishman. Winnipeg is a beautiful province =)
