Well, yesterday we had a hail/rain/whatever storm come through, my house was only a mile or two from where the really nasty stuff happened and it didnt seem too bad.
But in fact there was so much hail and rain that drains clogged, intersections, roads, freeways and entire neighbourhoods were flooded.
There were pictures of places that got nearly a foot of hail!!!! The city had to break out the snowplows (Its July, we usually dont use snowplows in July) to clear the streets of the hail.
Lots of mud and debris came down off the various hills and blocked roads and plugged sewers to add to the flooding.
A lovely time in this neck of the woods.
Lots of stuff on the news, lots of amazing pictures too.
I did find one persons album for your viewing pleasure.

I'm glad you clarified the fact that you don't usually use snow plows in July. It is Canuckistan after all... _________________

bummer dayz dood! well, I hope your house wasn't damaged too bad.
Its good to see that weather is not just a bitch in the south, it likes to be a pain everywhere. So far we have been lucky, but its time for the Hurricane season and we are due for a tough one this year I am sure.
well, I am heading out into the heat to do some work (heat index = 100-107 today), good luck JD and stay high and dry! And I'll be sure to drink lots of water and not over do it. I am not interested in any type of heat stroke... _________________ JohnCarter, Warlord of Mars
