|
|
my bro downloaded a game from gamerival on his comp called towerblast. it's a free for 2 hours.
now the prob: i can not delete the exe. (actually the thingie that downloads the game :/ )
file is called towerblastersetup-dm
any ideas on how to get rid of it?
i am logged in as administrator, s&d and adaware didnt help either. dragging in the recycle bin didn't work, renaming dioesn't work.
it keeps telling me it's in use by another program? how can that be if the game is uninstalled?
-edit- tried safe mode too, doesnt work either. _________________ PROUD TO BE A MEMBER OF =US-V= & VILLE $UPPORTER

This may be a feature by the makers of the game to make sure you don't get another free 2 hours. _________________

WinXP doesn't support DOS (assuming that you're running that OS). _________________

It's a command prompt, even though it looks exactly like a DOS prompt and supports several of the same commands. _________________

I thought you could delete files through it, though. _________________
