I'm glad to see you finally kicked the habit Rob. But I have a funny feeling you didn't quit because you wanted to. My interpretation is that Rob smoked so much that he smoked himself out of house and home. Jeez Rob, I think this is about as big a cry for help that I have ever seen.

Its not as hard to quit like most people think it is. I have not had a smoke now for
33 days. I've been smoking 15yrs and I tell you now I wish that I did not. |

Good Luck Species! You and I are in a similar boat. I havent smoked since Jan 15th this year after an eight-year struggle with the habit. Though it was difficult in the beginning, the urge is almost gone now, and I'm thankful for persisting this long.

One thing ive noticed from my smoker friends (I do not smoke thank god) that had quit for a couple weeks or so is that they are fine untill they drink or go party, then they have the urge even worse and lapse and have to start over again, so if you do drink be very careful because just having one will almost certainly get you going again. If you dont drink often you probably have a better shot of kicking the habbit. So be strong, youll thank yourself later.

I quit smoking now over 1 and 1/2 years. Dude my advice to you is that unless you wanted to quit you may as well keep smoking. Maybe someday you'll wake up and decide that the smell that you now give off is offensive as hell. Took me awhile before I knew it myself. But unless you want to quit, you'll never be able to |
