Ok this is what my error message said:
" Could not connect to the Steam network.
This could be due to a problem with your Internet connection or with the Steam newtork."
Please visit steamsucks.com for more help
ok It didn't tell the above part but thats what I think about steam right now

Don't Feel Bad, I Just Updated And Now I Can't Connect To DoD. Says Its Not Available On The Steam Network.

Delete clientregistry.blob file and see if that does the trick.

ya i had that too you just gotta wait it out eventually they fix it
they also just released a patch so patches screw everything up

<------ Have you tried this I had no problems with the new update. Might try deleting that file and restarting STEAM should fix your problem.
