I just installed Cheating Death on to Theville.org III. If you do not have a copy of this program get it at

This way we will have to guess less if a person is cheating or just good (since NS is considered the hardest mod to tell in)

is cd required on the server? I ask because everytime I have played with CD it makes steam crash when I try to access servers that dont use it. I find this very inconvenient.

It is optional

And as Clay Pigeon pointed out, CD will not work on servers without CD. This is something to do with steam I am told.

CD only works when VAC is disabled...VAV is a HL made cheat protecting that im sure rarly gets updadted because as we all know steam and valve are slow...

So CD is the most updated form of VAC...

Only CD Servers can use it...

Just a Update on CD

For those of you who run CD the problem with CD is due to the new Steam update...

As of now its useless...Due to the Steam update there are some changes CD has to make before it will run properly...

Ill let you know when there is an update...or you can find out your self with the update through the Cheating Death Updater...

Otherwise ppl will experience the Code 18 error and Ns will freeze or NS jsut shuts down...

So for those who have CD do not run it until and update has come out...

There is an update for CD...It will take a little while before the auto updater will release it...if you wish to have it now you can dl it from this link...

k, I dl update, install, close ap, shut down and restart comp, still won't recognize update....

All you have to do is click the button that says "Check for Updates" and it will install the new updates.
