Best thread ever. Bazly, me, Rizzo and Mr. Dig all get A+ on resounding inner logic while the dev. team gets an F- for breaking the unbroken. |

I never use the bar (never bothered to get good with it), but changing it like that is incredibly stupid. Allies have always been at a disadvantage, and with the release that is supposed to fix that, they end up making it worse. _________________

I dont ever just crouch and fire with the BAR i stay on the move, I havent seen a problem with it. I just play. Bitch about the lack of cover in DoD that would make me happy. Get shot more when im ducking in a window then actually looking out it. |

That thread was a very good read.
The depth that you guys have gotten to on this MOD kinda scares me.
I remember the technical threads that I would post on for TFC. Mostly they consisted of "Me fire rocket. It go boom. I miss. JD snipe me. JD is wiener."
I realize that I suck at DoD, but geez....
You guys are crazy! _________________

The Browning can be a harsh mistress now. Once I was in the doorway to the W on Ava, I heard a number of Axis camping underneath the arch, I popped out the door, saw four of them, fired, killed two, couldn't control the recoil, and one of the surviving two offed me. With the old Browning I would've offed all four before they knew what hit them. Now it feels like it's just spray and pray sometimes.
The damage the BAR deals now never seems to be consistant either anymore. _________________

Hmm..I haven't played too much 1.2, but I always thought that damn weapon was way to easy to use. I actually agree with their decision to mess with it. It was way to accurate and the heavy rounds did uber damage - you could use like a rifle or like a smg. About the only problem was a small clip capacity. Most casual DoDers like me taht I've talked to seem to have good success with it - that should tell you something. I happen to prefer rifles though, I think they're more fun. However I would agree with the statement that theres an imbalance issue with stg44 still being a beast (and apparently fg42). They need to up the recoil or something with it, cuz its wayyyyy to ez to hoor it up with that gun. So ya, rather than make it the wonderBAR again, I'd nerf the stg44. Autoweps are for sissies |

Same here.
I noticed last night I was starting to suck a lot with it, so I went to see my accuracy on psychosstats... Im now at 14%, I was at 20% before
