RTFM!!
After several years playing these games, occasionally there is something I can't figure out. <3 had me stumped for a bit. I <3 you? wtf? Then I realized it's a heart. Some say it's silly to use these abbreviations but in all honesty, it's really about conveying your message in game while typing as little as possible. Cuts down on typing deaths.
Also, while I may ban for outright using foul language, I do not mind people using "wtf", "RTFM", and "ffs"! It gets your point across but is less offensive/harsh. So it helps everyone out. _________________ Recipient of POTM award

This is true. The only time I have a problem with it is when it is directed negatively towards another player. It is much more appropriate to use these instead of spelling them out or even using voicecom. _________________
