Just for some of those people out there who arent sure what is what.

Camping- Staying in one spot the entire game and that spot holds no strategic value... i.e. the last flag when you have 3 capped in front of them.

Holding the line- Entrenching yourself at a location which is of a strategic value to the enemy. i.e a back alley perhaps the one in Donner staying in the bunker as an MG or sniper all game.

The reason being behind this is that playing kraftstoff today(as axis) we had no defensive line anywhere and I kept getting shot in the back. Although challenging and humorous it was quite frustrating. So the next time you see an MG somewhere look at the flags on your display. If hes in a good spot give him ammo if not escort him to a better spot.

Tired of getting shot in the back

Good tip. Camping is the key to the game, but it has to be done right.

Kraftops is a good map, but capping takes way too much time. THa allies have time to respawn and come back before its done. Very silly.

Moreover, I get easily bored playing as an allies, because there is nothing to do other than camping the axis. I would like some objectives, that would bew more fun.

2 Thoughts: (I know, I'm having a good day)

1. There are versions of the map where there ARE objectives for both sides--I played them during my network-enforced-hiatus from tV. Unfortunately, they were also significantly easier for Allies.

2. If you want a challenge as Allies, go as THE WHOLE TEAM GREASEGUN ONLY. I played that 9v9 for 45 minutes and it's the most fun I've ever had in DoD. (Even better than my 25 kills in a row on Avalanche.) It forces the Allies to work as a team, and gives the Axis a fighting chance. Not sure it would work on a full on 13v13, but I'm sure it would be a blast to try. Any admin want to hijack the slot limitations at tV IV and make Krafstoff GG only???

Only thing I can't stand is when an entire team goes into defensive mode and starts cmaping around their first two flags, or when a player camps flag one with a sniper rifle to kill the entire point of stealth and flanking. I do agree that "offensive camping" is a great and valid tactic. Garand + anzio bridge = killing spree.

The only time I like defensive camping is escape. If the axis don't have someone doing at least the left cannon you are doing the team a disservice. It can be boring doing it when the axis is dominating, but against a good allied team you have to be on your toes while protecting the cannon.

Of course defensive camping is good on objective maps when the other team is about to run you over, like in charlie when there are one or two left to be taken. Otherwise I despise camping, it just seems like a waste in some cases. But to each his own I guess.

If the world prone camped corners we could eliminate war all together.

Neg. MP44 + Anzio landry area = killing spree. Disrupting enemies deep in their turf can win you the match in under a minute unless the rest of your team sits back in their zone, waiting away for someone to stop by while you have all the fun.

It's a good idea to have a destination everytime you spawn. If you survive to make it there, kick some ass and try to give your team that leeway to move around the map freely.

Grease gun is a great gun man. THe M3 is great where have u been? Its got a great rate of fire and people go down if you aim high enough. 1 magazine can last you 4 kills at least.
