Has anyone played this on the fast download server?

I was running around it alone and it looks pretty cool.

I agree with Stevo doods, it would be friggin' spectacular if TV VII actually got some traffic. We should somehow figure out a weekly time - like The Ville Fam night and stuff.

dod_kampf. Ever played that? It's inside this huge German castle and it's just insane. Most fun I've had on DoD for a while. Custom maps are so underrated.

I do go from time to time play custom maps on other servers, but I don'T always know the name of the map. I *think* I tried that one the other day though.

I'd play on VII more if there was frequent traffic. I like custom maps essentially because they're a new experience, but you need other people to play against.

I'll be spending more time there. I am a bit tired of the same old maps which is part of the reason I haven't been playing much dod lately. Stay on for a bit and people will come.

Mr. Harmless has the best sig ever. Ever. #Fade in

You know... wait. Freh, I was going to suggest that maybe whoever runs TV VII should run bots on it. I'd even play against all bots just to play different maps and get used to them. But bots can be really retarded on newer maps. I've seen them get stuck in the sewers on Kalt because they can't get past the pipes. They can't even get out of spawn on Escape, so I dunno if they would even have the slightest clue as to how to navigate custom maps.

The bots use waypoints to find their way around maps. If they don't have a waypoint for the map, then they will be completely lost. Also, if a map is updated, the bots won't see the changes. So in order to use bots, they would have to download the waypoints for each map or make them manually (takes a while and is hard).
