Lil' help for an oldtime newbie...

Hi guys,

I downloaded NS (I used to have it installed on a prior machine) beta and installed it. Then I downloaded and installed the patch file. But now, I can't seem to join servers cause my maps don't match. Did I err? Should I have not installed the patch or what? I'd appreciate a point in the right direction.

You need one more patch. Beta 4a. You also need to make sure that the #$%# installers all install to the same folder. I had to go back and redo it twice before it worked.

I thank you for excellent advice. I actually had run the patch a few times, but I don't think it did anything. I rebooted and ran it and it worked.

Anyway, if you see an alien that doesn't seem to know how to bite anything... it may be me.
