First time Tayconc-ing!!

Wow, I just gone with my first game of Tayconc. It was a blast. I might actually be able to conc jump now

I was playin with Snagg, JD, and GwL Magic Man. They were really helpful, and I learned a lot.

The game was great, until a player named [CAD-MIGOS]o-('.'O-)<---Deadly started b*tching that I took his ball when he died, then kept demanding that JD give him noclip or teleport. Quite annoying if you ask me, and I'm sure that the other guys playing felt the same way. Oh, then he got mad when I couldn't drop it, cuz I don't know my drop key (I don't think I have one bound) ah well

All in all, great learning experience...

If you can conc jump thats more than i can do..Ive practiced an practiced an i just cant time a conc jump....I can however do some rocket/nade jumps pretty good.

that guy really wanted his ball back. It was pretty funny. Good job OSU, you picked it up really quick.

Yeah, I just got done playin again with GwL, that guy is CRAZY good. He helped a lot, and it was hard, but fun.

Gwl wasn't always good, you know.

Once upon a time, he was no good at it. Yes, it's true.

But he was touched by an... admin, and he learned everything he now knows.

He then set out on a quest to help all others who are struggling with it.

The morale? When you start, you will not be good. Practice. I did, and i actually recently made it all the way through. Now i just need a ball, and then i can try to use my skills in a game.

Keep at it, Tayconcers. One day all Villuns will be able to fly.

PS: Someone was whining about his ball? On a non compition map? Pfft.

Chong, if rocket/nade jumping is more your style, I recommend rjump1 or 2. These maps are absolutely rediculous..you'll learn to do things with nades that you never thought were possible.

For instance the last jump requires that you use two nades AND two rockets to get onto a platform....you lose so much health doing it that if you don't make the jump and fall.....you die. And start over.

Argh! It's absolutely frustrating, but incredibly fun to watch sollys fly!

I've been trying to play medic lately and have been getting a little frustrated. I'm ok with the shottie and nades (engy skills) and I run around like crazy, but I haven't quite got the conc jumping mastered. Tayconc sounds cool. Where do you play that? Grudge server?

I played tayconc by myself, and I just can't get the one before the long jump! You know, the incredibly high one that looks like a cliff in badlands? The only way i got past that and completed the course was with low gravity....

Tayconc is pretty fun, hopefully the next conc map you add will have a nice Triple conc at the end. Nothing like doing one of those and looking down at your success.

You'll need to double conc to get out of the pit. To do that, throw a conc out, and when it beeps for the second time, prime a second conc. You want to get it so that the beeps sound at the same time. That way it doesn't get so confusing as to when they are going off. Do a regular jump on the first one, and when the second one is just about (split second) to go off, let it go while looking down, and you should propel yourself up and out of the pit.

You have to do a double conc jump. I would recommend playin that map with a conc master
