I am getting my map made great, but i can't seem to run the map. it never creates the .BSP so the "server" doesn't think it has the map.
************ ERROR ************
Error opening c:\sierra\half-life\tfc\maps\wtc.bsp: No such file or directory
that is what it says in the processing box.
i don't get it, everything is set to compile in that folder, yet it doesn't work..

go to http://collective.valve-erc.com/
but it sounds like you aren't compiling your maps in the right directory
go to tools > options > ...
i forgot what tab it is but it says "put compile maps in directory" you should change it to your tfc/maps directory

| no it's a tab in one of the options window where u can specify a directory to save your compiled maps... i forgot which one i haven't used hammer in forever |

finally you guys replied, now i can get to working on that map 
just kidding, i posted this quite awhile back, i gave up on it, i had a good map going, until the comp crashed then i haven't messed with it.
but hey, thanks anyways.
